At the end of the 80's - in the central part of Holland - a one-off jam session by local musicians led to the birth of an influential and groundbreaking group: Urban Dance Squad, led by MC/Singer Rude boy. Backed by a traditional rock band line-up plus DJ DNA, they pioneered the rock-meets-rap movement in Holland and abroad.

Not fitting in either one of those categories, they singlehandedly created their own mix of genres: rocking with the toughest while maintaining street credibility. On the heels of their 1989 debut Mental Floss For The Globe, they toured on both sides of the Atlantic and gained praise from fellow musicians Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers. 'Deeper Shade of Soul' proved a song with international hit-appeal and several tracks off the album featured in Hollywood movies. The gig shook the US and blew alternative music lovers away. The energy and the feeling coming from the stage made the crowd explode. These live recordings from Hollywood played in 1990 is available on vinyl for the first time. Hollywood (Live) is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on crystal clear vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve and includes printed inner sleeves.
