Bobby Hutcherson - Medina [Blue Note Tone Poet Series]

Bobby Hutcherson's cutting-edge 1969 session, Medina, found the vibraphonist with a remarkable band, featuring Harold Land (tenor saxophone, flute), Stanley Cowell (piano), Reggie Johnson (bass), and Joe Chambers (drums).

 
The set presents original compositions by Hutcherson, Cowell and Chambers. This stereo Blue Note Tone Poet Series edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and packaged in a deluxe tip-on jacket.
