Murray A. Lightburn - Once Upon A Time In Montreal

For over 25 years, Murray A. Lightburn (M.A.L.) has been the lead singer and principal songwriter of internationally-known Montreal chamber rock band, The Dears. Once Upon A Time In Montréal is M.A.L.’s third full-length solo album, following 2019's Hear Me Out and 2013’s experimental concept record MASS:LIGHT. As The Dears’ latest (Lovers Rock) album cycle comes to a close, M.A.L. begins work on a new album, to be released under his own name. While musically distinct, Once Upon A Time In Montréal will build on the associated brand of The Dears and expand upon the existing fanbase.
