Joan’s debut album ‘superglue’ is the landing point of a journey that began with 2019’s ‘porta’ ep, followed by 2020’s ‘cloudy’ and ‘partly cloudy’ eps, and their ‘wave era’ with 2021’s ‘hi’ and ‘bye’ eps. the band’s newly found joy of parenthood inspired them to write and record their irresistible debut album. after touring endlessly over the past 4 years, ‘uperglue’ is a return to their trademark alt-pop bops, tinged with the sweetest hint of ‘90s r&b influences.
